Post Covid - New Class Booking

Wednesday, June 10, 2020

UFC GYM Group Class Bookings

The health and safety of all our staff and members is our highest priority during this COVID-19 period.

Here is what we are doing to ensure member safety:

·         Bookings required for all group classes

·         A maximum of 10 participants only per class

·         Maintaining 1.5m social distancing practices

·         Increased time between classes

·         No towel = no workout

·         All equipment spaced apart to ensure social distancing practices

·         BYO gym mat, skipping rope, foam roller

·         More sanitising stations

·         Non Essentials such as Showers, Lockers, Water bubblers, Hair dryers and Ironing centres have been disabled

·         Increased cleaning of equipment

Additional signage across the gym floor and on equipment to assist with 1.5 meters social distancing at all times.

To manage Government limitations set on class participant and gym entry number, we have introduced a new manual COVIDsafe class booking system as of 13 June 2020.  Our class areas have been set up with designated spaces to adhere to the 1.5m social distancing requirements. The following capacity limits of 10 participants apply to each class within our gym as of 13 June 2020:

·         DUT = 10

·         Octagon = 10

·         BJJ Mat Area = 10

·         Boxing Bag Area = 10

To help manage 10 participants per class, all UFC GYM conditioning and skills classes will require a booking in advance (in person or via phone only) to ensure we can manage class capacity restrictions and COVIDsafe social distancing practices.
