UFC GYM Group Class Bookings

The health and safety of all our staff and members is our highest priority during this COVID-19 period.

HERE IS WHAT WE ARE DOING TO ENSURE MEMBER SAFETY:

• Bookings required for all group classes

• A maximum of up to 20 participants only per class (calculation based on space)

• Maintaining 1.5m social distancing practices

• Increased time between classes

• No towel = no workout

• All equipment spaced apart to ensure social distancing practices

• BYO gym mat, skipping rope, foam roller

• More sanitising stations

• Increased cleaning of equipment

To manage Government limitations set on class participant and gym entry number, we have introduced a new manual

COVIDsafe class booking system as of 13 June 2020. Our class areas have been set up with designated spaces to

adhere to the 1.5m social distancing requirements.

The following capacity limits of 20 participants apply to each class

within our gym as of 13 June 2020:

• DUT = based on calculation of track space - 16 participants

• Octagon = 8 (based on calculation of Octagon space - 8 participants)

• BJJ Mat Area = 8-12 (based on 4sqm per person)

• Boxing Bag Area = based on calculation of bag rack space - 16 participants

To help manage 8-16 participants per class (government recommendations up to 20 participants, factoring in 4 sqm per

person and social distancing), all UFC GYM conditioning and skills classes will require a booking in advance (in person or

via phone only) to ensure we can manage class capacity restrictions and COVIDsafe social distancing practices.
